In spring in Savannah, I kept seeing these smaller caterpillars, which I understand to be Eastern Tent Caterpillars. They are very cute and friendly, so I decided to do a work about their lifespan. I wanted this to be ethereal, and remark on the spiritual aspect of nature, spring, and the lifecycle. April 2023.
