The Fires (Log)
I did my final piece for class on a piece of wood I found outside. I collaged pieces of media about the forest fires, with crochet works, and butterflies. The color palette remains warm and dry, with some of the butterflies turning into ashy grey. I had to leave the log in Lacoste.

How I Learned to Love the Fly panel 2
This was done using a field journal illustration style. I tried to closely examine my favorite parts of the nature of Lacoste, and part of that meant the flies. Which I had to learn to love because there were so many and they were so annoying.
